Chris Boonzaier Posted February 26, 2009 Posted February 26, 2009 This is obscure, but just incase its of use to anyone, a list of the German casualties in the Gibeon area. I have a zerox from the South African military archives which I had made while down there. It was typed up by an army clerk in 1915, so there are errors in names and ranks, but a bit of the historical puzzle all the same....Interesting to see some South African Names in there... must have been Boers who settled in GSWACasualtiesGerman forces: Gibeon, 26th-27th April 1915KilledErnst Holger (4th Coy), Peter Rehbein, Kneil (1st Res), Emil Franke, Franze Renner, Sergt.
