Ed_Haynes Posted March 14, 2009 Posted March 14, 2009 Created by the Ex-Presidium of the Supreme Soviet in 1999.
Guest Rick Research Posted March 14, 2009 Posted March 14, 2009 These --all of these-- are interesting from a "Zeitgeschichte" standpoint (lunatics living in a self-created parallel universe, while cashing in by selling vanity not-awards to their followers to play Dress Up Pretend) BUT should not be conflated with REAL Russian Federation GOVERNMENT awards or indeed actual DECORATIONS that are actually "for" anything in any sense beyond buy-it-and-it's-yours.We have "American" Junque now being peddled and sold to and bought by "veterans" of this that and the other etc etc which are simply COMMERCIAL PRODUCTS as well--without the assertion of fictive political authority.I still cannot understand why the REAL Federation government-- so tenderly concerned with ITS "Vlast"--is simply ignoring these people who are carrying on as if THEY are the ones "in charge."Beyond simply being SAD, these ... things... are seditious. I guess bathos isn't treasonous.
sambolini Posted March 15, 2009 Posted March 15, 2009 Indeed, a lot of them look like they came out of a Cracker Jack box. Much worse quality than their American counterparts.Regards,Sam
TacHel Posted March 15, 2009 Posted March 15, 2009 The organization in question calls itself the ex-presidium of the Supreme Soviet. They are incredibly well connected politically and have loads of cash.It is so bad that even serving members of the military and MVD wear these medals on their uniforms!
