I have never seen the designation "government signals" (which is correctly translated here) used before.That would seem to imply some sort of "secure communications" rather than the usual telephone or radio unit.Which probably explains why he got a Red Star that might have been a Military Merit Medal for anybody else. Some Comrades being more equal than others. :rolleyes:
