SCcollector
When one takes another look at these badges what is striking is the beauty of some of them and the obvious time and effort that has gone into the design and manufacturing process. The smallest towns and boroughs took great pride in their communities and the way that they were portrayed. Another example, I suppose, of how much we have lost as a nation. Very sobering and very sad in some ways.
NickLangley
The Cosham SC badge is an interesting one. There never was a Cosham force per se as it came under the jurisdiction of the Portsmouth Police. I presume it was some kind of unofficial insignia worn by SCs in the area.
