I am unaware of anyone bothering to fake these. I couldn't tell from the scan if your 20 years one was actually an old late 1950s-early 1960s silvered finish one, but this is a late (after all the 1960s MOOP and Union Republics issues were replaced by the original type again) alloy type and quite common.
