Kriegsmarine Kriegsmarine illness code

Hello Everyone

I have a u-boat soldbuch and the man spent a month in hospital.I can not

seem to find this illness code it looks like 47.I have heared it said that kriegsmarine

codes are slightly different to army ones.I would also like to know the name of the

hospital if anyone could help as far as I know this man was trapped at St Nazaire

until the end of the war.

I don't know if KM codes were different (would seem to be pretty daft if they were) but 47 related to lung diseases i believe.

Kriegmarine medical codes are actually different. I have a Sanit?ts book at home with the different codes...some do mach Wehrmacht codes however.

"Fehler" codes for Wehmacht were number 1-75 if I remember correctly, however Kriegsmarine number 1-192!

I will post more when I return home at the weekend.
