Hauptmann Posted June 23, 2009 Posted June 23, 2009 Hi all,Wondered if ya'll could give me any info on any or all of these and let me know if there's anything of any significance or if it's all fairly common stuff:
Guest Rick Research Posted June 24, 2009 Posted June 24, 2009 The little yellow white and red ribbon on stickpin with mini medal is the Spanish "Military Medal"-- bravery award for enlisted men. Can't quite tell from the mini of what era, and don't know what normal Spanish wear was for such lapel wear, but quite interesting. Not sure what some of the tiny minis are supposed to be, other than Austrian awards. If they were for ribbon bar wear, there would be little splints on back of each. The crowned Prussian eagle in shield looks like a Beamten shoulder board device but the color and materials aren't quite right, as if maybe some sort of cast ? patriotic pin.i
Histaria Posted July 17, 2009 Posted July 17, 2009 In post #1, RDH was for the Reichsbund Deutscher Hausfrauen. This was the membership pin for this housewive's organization. There was also a version with a wreath that was used as an award. In post #3, BdG is a membership pin for a local branch or sub-group of the DHV; the Deutscher Handlungshilfen-Verband. This was some kind of medical welfare or assistance organization. "50 Jahr" is a long service award for a member of the local baker's association of the town of Pfalz.
