Jim Baker
Hey Guys,I'm often curious about where people create their little works of art. Here's mine in a relatively (and rare) clean state.
Jim Baker
Another shot. And Steve is right. Actual modeling takes place dead center of the bench. The rest gets used for coffee, books, photos, etc....
Jim Baker
Some reference stuff...
Firefly
Cheers for the pics Jim. I'm moving house this month to something much bigger, and am hoping to create my own liitle 'space' to get back into modelling. Been years since i last made one......looking forward to getting back to it..... Amos.
StephenLawson
Greetings all; This is my bench in about 2000. The only difference now is there are more in the stash and the Light is black and mounted to the table top. Originating from a fellow modelers site see;http://us-aircraft.com/
Bob Hunter
Ah ha! It looks like someone else also suffers from UBK (Unbuilt Kit Syndrome)!
Jim Baker
Yep, I've got that problem too. And fortunately/unfortunately my shelves are now full. Wifey can't believe I want "ANOTHER" model for Christmas!! Hopefully the 1/72 Revell VIIC U Boot. I'm kinda stuck in 1/72 scale.Steve, the bench looks a little tidier than last I saw it, and that top shelf is definitely a little more crowded. Take a shot of the awards wall!! All well deserved. Here's my stash. And the white shelves are full again after I went to so much trouble to empty them out a bit.

stephen
"Sheer bloody luxury",Sadly, I no longer have a bench, children and commitments and being a flat/apartment dweller means that for painting I use a small fold away table for bigger building projects I use my wife?s studio but that is a couple of miles from the house and after a long day at work bla bla bla. So I am really jealous of you guys!!!!
