Wild Card
Gentlemen, For your evaluation and entertainment, I would like to present a group of three Prussian decorations on a buttonhole device. What makes this curious is the fact that while the bar is made for three decorations, it is mounted with four ribbons; the fourth one being what appears to be an 1870 combatants medal. saschaw
Interresting curious and CUTE group. I'm not sure about it, but the "1870/71" ribbon looks rather like a 1934 honour cross ribbon to me - due to the lack of a 1897 medal any 1870/71 veteran had by 1912/13... Odd combination. Guest Rick Research
Yup-- updated in the 1930s with a Hindenburg. Too bad no tiny miniature Kolonialspange to place this one.
