scottplen Posted November 7, 2009 Author Posted November 7, 2009 recieved restored file from st louis found out he was Killed during amphibious Assault on Mariveles Harbor Bataan on feb 15 1945 he is buried in Italian cemetery SF CA. Died of mine concusion/drownding , Found info on LSM 169 (landing craft Medium) LSM 169 struck mine on way in on first wave One Halftrack was blown of LSM and all army crew KIA My guess this is his recon halftrack !
