most likely Killed in Japanese night time counter attack but still waiting for IDPF

he was from CA this is all i have

Beautiful heart. I have one to a 21st Cav Trooper killed the day before.

recieved restored file from st louis found out he was Killed during amphibious Assault on Mariveles Harbor Bataan on feb 15 1945 he is buried in Italian cemetery SF CA.

Died of mine concusion/drownding , Found info on LSM 169 (landing craft Medium)

LSM 169 struck mine on way in on first wave One Halftrack was blown of LSM and all army crew KIA

My guess this is his recon halftrack !
