Luftwaffe Help with Pilot's Badge

Hi everyone,

I was wondering if someone could help identify the pilots badge I have some photos of here. It was given to me by a friend several years ago. He collects all sorts of THird Reich memorabilia.

I wonder if this is an original or not and if so if you could tell me more about it.
