Magician
Here is another fantastic medal very rare to find with it's original box. It's a SILVER Cross of Merit for Military Chaplains II. CLASS. Inside of the box you can see mark to who it was awarded: Ivo Robert Nitz Edited September 29, 2009 by Magician

Guest Rick Research
Father Nitz does not show up on any of the random K.u.k. Rank Lists that I have, but then he was probably a war's duration volunteer. I wonder if the Kriegsarchiv in Vienna has Belohnungsanträge for this Cross? Iver
Hi Matej, welcome to GMIC The cross is marked with a star (I have seen more photos), that indicates a later period of war, also the material of box indicates the same... And... he was surely not awarde in the first year of war (have looked in Ehrenbuch der O-U wehrmacht )
Magician
Father Nitz was found in war archives but I still haven't received it. Will inform you when I get info.
