Iron Cross 1914, Bavarian Military Merit Cross 22nd Class X with Crown, Hindeburg Cross X, ? Austrian WW1 Commemorative, ?, ?-- probably one of those is a Hungarian WW1 Commemorative-- no sign of any long service medal, Imperial or Wehrmacht so not a career guy. A former Bavarian NCO as some sort of Wehrmacht official-- probably a paymaster to judge by the white (?) borders to his cuff and collar patches. What would be really interesting with a decent quality photo is that he appears to be wearing-- quite improperly -- the 1920s very unofficial Prince Alfons brooch just above his belt.
