Its main functions and powers are: to represent the Kuomintang externally; to implement the resolutions of the National Congress; organize and direct local party departments; organization of the ministries and committees of the Central Committee of the Party; Dispose of the party's funds. The Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Kuomintang is the executive body of the Central Executive Committee of the Kuomintang when it is not in session, exercising the final right to make decisions on party affairs, politics and military affairs, and its minutes reflect the party's decision-making on major issues in party affairs, politics, diplomacy, military and other aspects, and have extremely important reference value for the study of the history of the Kuomintang and the history of the Republic of China.
