sef1962 Posted October 16, 2009 Share Posted October 16, 2009 (edited) Hello just starting to research the wehrpass of Paul Hellbach I have shown p22 it is the WWI promotions that interest me Unterofficer to Vizefeldwebel skips a rank and so does Vizefeldwebel to Leutnant how common is this ? Also Gerfrieter to Leutnant in two years quite a rise ! Regulars didn't use the intervening ranks of career NCOs either as they advanced from (Fahnenjunker-) Unteroffizier to Fähnrich to Leutnant.
