Napoleonic MGS Rolls Check, Please

Would someone with the various rolls of recipients please see this:

It would be difficult to imagine a Napoleonic campaign medal (sans clasps, alas-- hence the question as to his entitlement) in a more unlikely place! :speechless1:

Pte William Barry, 44th (East Essex) Regiment, received the MGS with "Badajoz" clasp. The roll notes that he appears on a pension list 1/6/13.
