Christian L Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 Quiet a nice shot of an awardee beeing not able to place his Commander Decorations around his neck - and as his civilian dress, doesn't allow him to put the others in the button-holes ... he olaces the surplus one next to his mini-chain. Also quiet interesting, that he favours his Finnish Order of the White Rose to be worn around the neck instead of his German Red Cross Commander. Hope you like it!
Mike Dwyer Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 Christian, Isn't he missing another neck cross.....for the Prussian Crown Order? He's got the breast star on, but no neck cross.
saschaw Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 Funny photo... must be a high Red Cross guy, and I would totally not be suprised if his EH2a (SEHO commander grade) would be post-1918 Coburg and Gotha award. Isn't he missing another neck cross.....for the Prussian Crown Order? He's got the breast star on, but no neck cross. No, that's the star to his Ernestine neck cross. ;)
Mike Dwyer Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 No, that's the star to his Ernestine neck cross. Okay, I could just make out the crown in the middle so, without really thinking, I surmised Prussian Crown Order!
