I'm looking for informations (technical, pilotes, missions, last fight etc...) about a Heinkell 111 sunk off Menton (Mediterranean sea) on jully 31, 1944 at +/- 01h00 pm.

A friend of me found a motor plate with numbers:

Do you know if there were any markings left on the the side of the aircraft? I would be interested to know what squadron this aircraft was from.

I can just say that it is certainly a Heinkell 111 H6type
