alex82 Posted January 10, 2010 Posted January 10, 2010 Hello Gentlemen I heard from different collectors and dealers here in Europe that the so called "Show of Shows" in Louisville (18-21 February 2010) is the place to look for japanese medals and general all militaria. Does some of you been there in the past and is it worth going? I'm thinking about making the trip to the Louisville because first, it's a wile since i've been in the states and second if this is a good place for a medal collector to go it's probably worth it. thank you a l e x
JBFloyd Posted January 10, 2010 Posted January 10, 2010 The Show of Shows is 1700 tables of militaria -- everything from mess tins to grand crosses. And every area and country is covered. Nearly every major militaria dealer in the US will be there, plus many collectors who only go to one show a year. It's well worth attending.
Kryptos Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 OK and our biggest militaria show here in South Africa is about 20 tables Must make a plan sometime in the future.
JBFloyd Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 In the hall next door, there will also be a 1000+ table gun show. Opportunities to spend money abound.
