Chris Boonzaier Posted January 13, 2010 Posted January 13, 2010 Hi, How many "Staatsminister" were there at one time? Thanks Chris
Guest Rick Research Posted January 14, 2010 Posted January 14, 2010 (edited) Quite a few. I'm looking at the Hof- und- Staathandbücher... basically the top guy in every Ministry. The HuS-HB also list (all together in one section) "Inaktiver Staats-Minister" some of whom do not seem to be retired. If you're looking for a specific signature on a dated document, I have the Prussian HuS HB for 1875, 1893, 1907, 1908, 1909, 1910 Edited January 14, 2010 by Rick Research
Chris Boonzaier Posted January 14, 2010 Author Posted January 14, 2010 Hi, I have the EK2 (White Ribbon) to Staatsminister a.D. von Möller. He seems to have had a bit of trouble during the war, maybe retired for that reason. Am not sure just what he was. mentioned on google twice to do with medical issues. best Chris
Guest Rick Research Posted January 16, 2010 Posted January 16, 2010 (edited) 1901: "ernannt 5. Mai 1901," Exzellenz, living in Berlin RAO1, KO3 (!), combined Lippes EK1 22.11.77 as Fürstl. Schaumburg-Lipp. Kammerherr (from the yet to be published Rolls), RWA "etc" in the "Inaktiver Staats-Minister" section. Orders Almanac 1908/09 shows as Theodor von Möller, born Kupferhammer bei Brackwede 10.08.1840, Dr. h.c. Universities of Pennyslvania and Pittsburgh ( ), Handelsminister aD and nothing else listed (so much for "etc") besides a Japanese Red Cross Medal. Edited January 16, 2010 by Rick Research
