Hat Badge

This is a hat badge worn by members of the Hanford Nuclear Reservation's Security Force. The yellow in the middle is the outline of the reservations boundries. Hanford is the site where the United States built the plutonium triggers for the atomic bombs that were dropped on Japan ending WW II.

This combination of hat and badge must be quite rare ? Is the hat the same pattern that State Troopers wear. Very nice quality on both pieces.
