Bundesrepublik GST Badges

I was looking through my "toy box" this afternoon, and I found some old badges from the East German GST orginazition. Are these worth hanging onto,or should I just solder some fishhooks to them and toss them into my tacklebox?

Without seeing the specific badges to which you are referring, I would say it's pretty much the same as with every other country/period- some badges will be more worth keeping than others. However, it's good to remember that there are no more of the "real thing" being made and, as supplies dwindle, demand may go up. I've noticed a recent increase in interest in some GST badges.
