scottplen Posted February 21, 2010 Share Posted February 21, 2010 heres my latest not a Pacific KIA but I am happy with it 2nd lt Greble Co- Pilot of 140-Co 42-110187 hit by sconds after bombs away this plane was flying second position in Lead element on bomb run over Junkers Fusalage plant Aschersleben Germany only the pilot Lt Counts was thrown from plane and survived aas a POW Last thing Lt William E Greble yelled was Fire in Bomb bay and plane blew up It took a direct hit by flak in the open bomb bay!!! this was the crews 13 mission !!
