Kev in Deva
Kevin, Do you happen to know what "C.T.A." stands for? Working on it, intorogating Mircà over dinner Another "C.T.A. 3" related pin. http://gmic.co.uk/uploads/monthly_03_2010/post-950-126850993483.jpghttp://gmic.co.uk/uploads/monthly_03_2010/post-950-126850997248.jpg And I think I have sussed what its awarded for, part of the Firebrigade training was accuracy with the fire hose, Fire stations would run competiotions with regards who could hit and knock over wooden targets, the "3" is probably either a 3rd place result in a competion or a grade. The badge depicts signs of Industry, Agriculture, and Electric / Communications. These do not follow the yellow & blue grades as other badges shown here, opting instead for Red & Blue. Badge 1 size:- 25mm X 16mm. Badge 2 size:- 22mm X22mm. The rocket badge was connected to Young Pioneer involved in Model Rocket Clubs. And is raised in the type on the right. Both of these have "M.S." marked pin systems. Kevin in Deva.
