Greg Collins
Kevin, Yep, drooling again! Also rethinking my assertion that there was only one version of the Stalin Academy badge- apparently there are two. Hmmmmm.:jumping:
Kev in Deva
18th March 2011 Visit:- Leaving the main building and passing through the artillery park, you arrive at a small building which houses the aviation section. For Aviation enthusiasts there is a dedicated Romanian Military Aviation Museum in another part of the city (and yes I made my first visit there on the 19th of March 2010 however for that I think it only fair to open a separate thread in due course. The aviation section building at the National Military Museum has a Romanian version of the PUMA on one side. In the picture can be seem my step-son Adrian and despite the way he looks he is an avid aviation fan who is in his first year, currently studying at the Aerospace Engineering Faculty, Air Navigation Section, at the Poly-technical University of Bucharest.
