Wood Posted May 24, 2010 Author Posted May 24, 2010 (edited) Wow Robin, that first word is Schülfest!!! but how do you get Burkhardtsdorf, I see another umlaut in there, after the L or B, or am I looking at two words here? Thanks, Pete Edited May 24, 2010 by wood
Tom Y Posted May 25, 2010 Posted May 25, 2010 Wow Robin, that first word is Schülfest!!! but how do you get Burkhardtsdorf, I see another umlaut in there, after the L or B, or am I looking at two words here? Thanks, Pete Those aren't umlauts. The "smile" over the spikes is a u. An umlaut would be a pair of eyes ö.
Wood Posted May 25, 2010 Author Posted May 25, 2010 Thanks Tom, now I know I shall never be able to read Sutterlin! Regards, Pete
Scowen Posted May 26, 2010 Posted May 26, 2010 Pete, Here's the alphabet for you to try & work it out. Cheers Don
