Very nice indeed. These early S-Boot and Destroyer War Badge docs with the gold oakleaf borders are most attractive.

out of curiousity would the oak leaves / wreath actually fade into a grey-green colour. As I have seen very very few advertised for sale most do look on the dark side-leaves, the same for the application around the S-Boot badge on the document

Hi Erich,

The gilt effect certainly tones down and darkens but I can't say I've ever seen it go a grey-green colour. Do you have any images of one like that ?
