fallschirmjager Posted June 22, 2010 Posted June 22, 2010 Dear All Looking for some help here! I'm having a bust made up of a British Boer War Trooper. I want the detail to be as accurate as possible. I've commented on the bandolier and sent the sculptor some original pictures of one. What I'm unsure about is the shape of the rounds (bullets). Can anyone advise if these rounds are of the correct shape? Any pictures even better! cheers mike
fallschirmjager Posted June 23, 2010 Author Posted June 23, 2010 Mike Excellent! Many thanks. Looks like he was pretty close with his first pass at them. I just think he needs to 'oval' them up and slim them slightly!? Mike
fallschirmjager Posted June 23, 2010 Author Posted June 23, 2010 p.s. these rounds have not been fired! Are they defused and disabled!!!
QSAMIKE Posted June 23, 2010 Posted June 23, 2010 Good Morning Mike..... No they are still live...... I purchased a chocolate tin a number of years ago with these and a pair of dum-dum rounds were in it that were used earlier....... Mike
