Noor Posted July 2, 2010 Posted July 2, 2010 Hi, I just received one senior officer ribbon bar from Netherlands and just wondering is there any chance to confirm Order of the British Empire, Military Division, what he received. At the moment main suspect is Queen of Netherlands Adjutant Admiral Carl Heinrich Emil Brainich von Brainich-Felth. His British award is on the last place. Is it possible to confirm, that he got this award?

JBFloyd Posted July 3, 2010 Posted July 3, 2010 Awards to foreigners are "honorary" and are not Gazetted, unfortunately. You'd have to find references in the Dutch court circulars or wherever "permission to wear" authority was published.
