Jim Baker Posted April 2, 2005 Posted April 2, 2005 Hey Guys,I know most of you have seen this before, but since there seems to be a lot of interest in the KVK's here, I thought I would throw it up for your review. It was discussed elsewhere and found to be good, and even another example like this showed up with a Detlev COA. The cross is marked "10" and in mint condition. The case is very generic, much like that of a wound badge. The color is maroon, and the top liner is not as blinding white as it appears.

Gordon Williamson Posted April 2, 2005 Posted April 2, 2005 Very nice example. Normally you wouldn't expect to find a Pr?sidialkanzlei marked award in an LDO box, but as the boxes had individual prices, and could be bought in their own right its perfectly feasible someone who received the official award in a paper envelope might buy such a box to keep the award afe.

Jim Baker Posted April 2, 2005 Author Posted April 2, 2005 Hi Gordon,I hadn't even thought of that. I double checked, and sure enough it's marked 10. I also noticed the cross appears to have been laquered. Interesting.
