Picked up this early Bundeswehr patch from a former Gebirgesjäger. Could any member tell me, what it denotes.

that is a patch of the Reservistenkameradschaft.

Nice catch AlecH! Were these worn on uniform or is it intended for "civvy wear"? I've seen the Reservisten metal badge worn on a leather fob on the right pocket, but always together with a standard Bundeswehr corps/division/brigade etc patch on the left sleeve of the dress uniform.
