army historian Posted December 10, 2010 Posted December 10, 2010 Hello all. I do not know if it is possible to research WW2 Hungarian soldiers. I have a photo ID'ed medal group to a Sergeant Major Zoltan David. His awards are: Order of Vitez'; Large Silver Bravery Medal; Small Silver Bravery Medal; Fire Cross with swords; Fire Cross without swords; Transylvanian Campaign; Yugoslavian Campaign; German WW2 Iron Cross 2nd Class; German WW2 Eastern front medal (Russia); Royal Canadian Lifesaving Society Silver Benefactor medal; Royal Canadian Lifesaving Society Bronze Benefactor medal; Royal Canadian Lifesaving Society National Lifeguard Silver Jubilee Medal; and Royal Canadian Lifesaving Society Diamond Jubilee Medal. All I know is that he was born 13 August 1917 in Transylvania, and died in 1988 in British Columbia, Canada. Thanks in advance, Any help would be very welcome. Cheers Captain George Albert
