Hello Simon.

The detailing isn't so good on the fake.

There are several differences ......... two highlighted here. The motto on the fake is solid, and the eyes of the skull are a bit 'blobby'.

Biggest differences are the colour of the design (more purple-blue on the fake) and the fact that on the fake all the pattern is printed over the glaze, not under it.

Many thanks for that, like most fakes when pictured side by side the differences in quality are obvious, but I've never seen one of these myself, so needed to ask.

The original was found for 480 Euros.

I've seen the fakes selling for over 200 Euros each, on eBay.
