Test pilot
Here's another early example of the RPR Order of Labor, Second Class. This time no number on pin or back of order. Hello Rick, This order must be in silver 750%. Also I think, that you must invite Anatoly13 and/or nasa_astronaut from sammler.ru as co-moderators of this Socialist Republic of Romania forums. These two most knowing about of Romania awards.
T.M.T.
Hello Rick, This order must be in silver 750%. This order is not only in silver, may be made and bronze. The pieces, 2nd. class, in silver is realy rare and expensive. The R.P.R. type of Order of Labor 1st. class exist and in gold made.
T.M.T.
I received this interesting Order of Labor (RPR, 3.Kl.) not too long ago. It raises a lot of questions for me.... Looks like a "Royalty" era case? The paper tag on the lid that matches the stamping? Why the numbering? I've seen an awful lot of this award floating about.... but precious few numbered? How rare is this style/type? Yes. You have right. This is a royal type box for Order of Labor - made in 1947 in the last days of the Monarchy in Romania. It's 1st. type of Order of Labor (R.P.R. type) and letter "C" is marked for 3rd. class, letter "B" is marked for 2nd. class and letter "A" is for 1st. class.
