Kev in Deva Posted May 31, 2011 Author Posted May 31, 2011 (edited) My friend is trying to locate more items, however, he thinks some objects were disposed of by his elderly Mother in the immediate post communist period after the Revolution of 1989. This is the R.P.R. Brevet Decree nr. 5o3 din 22. o8.1963 for conferring the Order :- "In Serviciul Patriei Socialiste" clasa a III-a locotenenttului major Dudàu C. Militia / Police buckle detail. the belt has been in storage for many years and the black piece is a strip of old perished rubber, that I am preparing to carefully remove, without causing any damage to the item. Kev in Deva Posted January 18, 2012 Author Posted January 18, 2012 UPDATE!!! Arrived at my door last night, the awards of the late Maior Dudàu C. Contantin, his wife found them while searching for some Christmas decorations. Apparantly he got the "In Serviciul Patriei Socialiste" clasa a III-a, for his police work in the investigation into a serial killer, (will be doing some more research into that story.)
