Solomon Posted July 2, 2011 Posted July 2, 2011 Hello, actually I´m searching on any information on the attached eagle. It is definitely not an Imperial German one, but from does it come and for what was it for? It looks similar to the Amrican eagle, nbut I´m not sure. Does anyone have an idea? The sizes are 63 mm x 32 mm, the material should be bronze. At its back you can find two screws to fix it (on what?). The clutches are holding clutches and a bay bough. Thank you for your help! Best regards Roman

Hugh Posted October 12, 2011 Posted October 12, 2011 Yes, it appears to be American with the arrows and laurel leaves, but I'm not convinced it's a military item. Many of these were produced as decoration for small items such as decorative boxes, etc. The size seems about right for that. Hugh
