Sween Posted July 14, 2011 Posted July 14, 2011 Hi everyone Please bear with me as I am new to medal collecting! i have bought a Turkish Crimea war medal off ebay. I am satisfied that it is authentic and still sports the british issued medal ribbon (32mm rather than 18mm). The rim is inscribed with what I feel to be '3525 J BARRETT SF GUARDS'. I understand that the medal roll WO 100/25, lists those soldiers of the SF Guards who were awarded medals in the Crimea and that some memebers may be able to advise me how to locate this medal role as all my searches of the internet have proved negative. Once I have confirmation that I have correctly read the recipitants details, I can then contact the Scots Guards RHQ and see if they have any service details. many thanks. Tony
