achern Posted September 20, 2011 Posted September 20, 2011 Gents, I have with me two badges from Mexico that I need help to identify. One seems to be a gold parachute badge from the Mexican Navy. The other one in silver, also appears to be naval but I don't know what it is for. Can anyone help me out here please? Thanks, Alf
speagle Posted September 20, 2011 Posted September 20, 2011 I didn't do a search on this site but it may be of help. http://militarybadgecollection.com/ Ed
Laurence Strong Posted September 22, 2011 Posted September 22, 2011 I can't find any piccies, however Mexico has a Naval Aviation branch and those could be pilots wings.......
achern Posted September 22, 2011 Author Posted September 22, 2011 Thanks for the idea. I could not find pictures of the silver wing either, so I'm still open to what it might be.
achern Posted September 22, 2011 Author Posted September 22, 2011 Okay Gents. It is confirmed to be a Mexican Naval Aviator badge. Thanks! - Alf
Ulsterman Posted September 22, 2011 Posted September 22, 2011 Hmmmmmmm.....the Military Photos website (contemporary) has a GREAT thread about the Mexican armed forces with some incredible pics. Let me go have a look. The guy who posts there a lot is a Mexican army Major and he will know. I think they are contemporary...
