Traveller491
Hello, I was wondering if anyone can help me find someone to build a reproduction ribbon bar for the 1870-1915 period. I am portraying a Saxon infantry officer of Grenadier Regiment 101. I was hoping to get a reproduction bar made with 1-2 minor Saxon or Imperial awards and a china campaign ribbon. Something that would look appropriate for the time period. I found this website that appears to have the ribbon to reproduce the china ribbon. http://www.huesken.c...1901-46401.html It would be cool if the reproductions could be complete medals, but I haven't found a reproduction medal for the china campaign so I don't know if that's possible or not? I appreciate any assistance or guidance that you can give! Thank you!
Deruelle
Hi, Welcome on board. About your subject, the reproduction of the China ribbon is for the ribbon bar from 1915 and above, not before this aera. You should find other ribbons on ebay.de. Here is an example of ribbon bar before 1915. hope it can help Christophe

Deruelle
To finish, don't hesitate to read the work of Rick Research here http://gmic.co.uk/index.php/gallery/album/173-german-ribbon-bars/ Christophe
Traveller491
For some reason, I'm not able to access the link that you provided. I get an error message. What I am looking for is someone to build a reproduction bar for me in the pre-1915 "old" style.
