1. First Naval Aeroplane Squad

2. Naval Pilot wearing Turkish and German Naval Pilot badges. Liyakat (Merit) Medal with Crossed Sabres and Donanma Ä°ane (Donation to build Marine Force) Medal. He has the special insignia of the Naval Pilots on his hat.

3. Marine Pilot Captain Kamil Mehmet. Wearing Turkish and Ottoman Naval Pilot badges and also Liyakat (Merit) Medal with Crossed Sabres and the Turkish War Medal on his left chest

I think Ahmet Ali was the first African Ottoman naval pilot in the world in 1916. His grandmother was from Borno,Nigeria. He has another photo above.
