Troy Tempest Posted March 19, 2012 Posted March 19, 2012 Not sure if this deserves it's own thread or not, and I've never seen one before, but here is my FIRST cased tinnie! Leipzig T41-03
mametz Posted March 19, 2012 Posted March 19, 2012 Very nice but not really a tinny more a non portable award Regards Mametz
Troy Tempest Posted March 19, 2012 Author Posted March 19, 2012 (edited) The regular Leipzig 41-03 tinnie listed in Tieste is just the square tinnie which has been rotated 45 degrees and has a ribbon ring/pin arrangement through the top. On my example, the rotated square is now enclosed withing a larger square, and has no ribbon ring/pin arrangement. I have sent the photos of mine to Reinhard Tieste for his thoughts. Troy Tempest Posted March 20, 2012 Author Posted March 20, 2012 Hi Pete I have just received my replies from Reinhard Tieste: Troy, that is what we call a plaque, it is nice but no tinnie. the tinnies are for all visitors and your plaque is a memory for an active sportsmen from that event. Regards Reinhard Tieste
