I have been collecting the series of Willirich Postcards realting to the Fallschirmj?ger. Post any other interesting postcards here for all to see.

Here is Major Koch

This chap was quite a chararcter by all accounts, and sounded very'intense'. He joined the police in 1929 and served most of his career in Airborne units. He was wounded no less than three times, during Eben Emael , Crete & Tunisia. He suffered a particularly bad head wound in Crete , shortly after landing , in action against the New Zealanders.
He died in a Car accident in 1943, in Germany.
