Robin Lumsden Posted April 7, 2012 Posted April 7, 2012 .................... "A specialist is someone who knows more and more about less and less until they know everything about nothing. A generalist is someone who knows less and less about more and more until they know nothing about everything". Well, here's a quote about a Guerilla Warfare Badge, lifted from another forum ................ "This is a 100% original thick version of the Type 1 Junckers second die, which rules out bronze ........... " I guess that must have been written by a 'specialist'. My point is ........................... Who decides that this pure, unadulterated baloney is proven fact ??? To believe this, you would have to accept that ...... There was a first die. There was also a second die (or more). The second die had a Type 1, Type 2, and maybe even more types. The Type 1 of the second die had two versions, a thick one and a thin one. If the badge is thick, it was never made in the Bronze version. So it goes on. Has this hobby gone NUTS !!!! Whatever happened to common sense ????
Chris Boonzaier Posted April 8, 2012 Posted April 8, 2012 Well, if I understand correctly, you can still post in that section of the forum. Why not challenge the statement there? Maybe the person has posted can answer your question for you?
