piekenier Posted May 31, 2012 Share Posted May 31, 2012 Looks good to me .What is thickness of medal .Is the artists name on the left shoulder ridge closw to the rim ,I cannot see as the photo is not large enough .Original strikes (generally award pieces) had artists name .Later strikes did not and were thinner and plated and were often used I believe on later mountings after WW1.
