Richard Sysum Posted February 1, 2006 Posted February 1, 2006 Hello Everyone I have been offered a DKiG set to a u-boatman the set is-1.u-boat citation first type2.EK2 doc3.EK1 doc4.U-boat front clasp in bronze doc5.Large formal DKiG doc 6.Large photo of man wearing all of the awards. The question is what value would you boys put on this? All docs are in great shape and original.Best Regards Richard..
hankmeister Posted February 2, 2006 Posted February 2, 2006 Assuming they are in good shape, around $2000 I would imagine. Possibly more, as KM docs always seem to be 3rd to SS and FJ stuff in price...
Gordon Williamson Posted February 2, 2006 Posted February 2, 2006 Assuming that the EK2 and EK1 are also for U-Boat service, somewhere in excess of ?2500 - or around $5000. Could be more depending on whether he was a crewman or officer/commander of the boat. The DK Doc on its own would be ?1500 to ?2000 depending on whether first or second type (Raeder or D?nitz signature)
hankmeister Posted February 2, 2006 Posted February 2, 2006 Hmmm, looks like I was just a little bit off! Hank
