I have started to see if I can find all 16 medals that are known of

First off is the Gujarat clasp, this is a court mounted version attached by velcro

Jammu & Kashmir clasp, also court mounted

Mizoram clasp, this one came with a lenght of plasticy ribbon

Nagaland clasp. It comes mounted with a short ribbon. According to Brian this is how the police officers actually wear them on the unifrom.

This is all I have at the momment, there is one more in the mail between here and India. I will post it when it shows up. If you have other examples, please feel free to contribute to this thread

Next is one for Meghalaya. For some reason it is spelt wrong, but from what I have seen at Sagongs, this is the norm.

Without research, but recognizing some of the bar titles, UI take it these are awarded for counterinsurgency duties in states where there are separatist movements and/or terrorist-guerilla-freedom-fighters. Nobody's idea of a nice duty to have!
