Got this badge today and need some guidence please concerning originality.

Height 53.38mm, width 42.28mm, wingspan 52.6mm.

A well known fake of the Assmann 2nd pattern Observer's badge, I'm afraid....

John thank you for the speedy reply .This one is not maker marked and sizes 76mm wide and 25.6mm wreat height. Arrow height 18.7mm and width of arrow wings 15mm.I will take more photos

John, are you sure about this observer is a fake? Looks like a fine original to me, but the rivets are messed with.

The fighter is a nice original.

Cheers for that, Tom....having revisited this badge on my desktop, I think you may well be right.

Certainly looks a lot better than it did on my iPhone.
