Scott Powell
This is a 1915 dated Urkunde and a cased Kvk.The Kvk has a bit of green toning on it. an interesting thing about the urkunde is that many years ago it was mounted to a piece of cardboard,( i am assuming for framing purposes)and on the back of the cardboard an old newspaper is glued to it. I can gather he was in the Field Artillery but I cannot decipher the particulars of his regiment Edited July 31, 2012 by Scott Powell
Dave Danner
not Field Artillery, Foot Artillery. Bavarian Reserve-Fußartillerie-Regiment Nr. 2. Wilhelm Morsch was born in Pforzheim in Baden on 18 June 1891. He was a gas worker in Grünstadt in the Bavarian Palatinate. In addition to your MVK, he also received the Iron Cross 2nd Class on 27 June 1918. He was severely wounded on 23 November 1917.
