Yes i saw one for sale about 2 months ago from Siegmund Stefan , he was asking 65 Euro . It was a nice early one .

I'd be careful with this.. The probability of a WW2 soldier surviving the war and having only The East Medal I would say were slim. Not impossible, but unusual. More likely, it's simply some type of "display" piece. Of course if that's what your after, more power to you!

Yeah, I was really thinking about this... if the guy was wounded out, even early on, you would think he would have received at least a KVK2wX, if not an EK2. I'd be happier with the pair mounted "57 style" rather than a loose one...

Of course having said that, we have no shortage of collectors who prefer the challenge of finding everything mounted solo! Good Luck! Rick
