Stogieman Posted February 6, 2006 Share Posted February 6, 2006 I'd be careful with this.. The probability of a WW2 soldier surviving the war and having only The East Medal I would say were slim. Not impossible, but unusual. More likely, it's simply some type of "display" piece. Of course if that's what your after, more power to you! Stogieman Posted February 7, 2006 Share Posted February 7, 2006 Yeah, I was really thinking about this... if the guy was wounded out, even early on, you would think he would have received at least a KVK2wX, if not an EK2. I'd be happier with the pair mounted "57 style" rather than a loose one...Of course having said that, we have no shortage of collectors who prefer the challenge of finding everything mounted solo!
